Dilma Rousseff's Official Site Attacked by Hackers The Brazilian Federal police are investigating a hacker attack on the country's presidential official internet site, the Bulgarian news agency BTA informs Wednesday.
The attack happened after the new President from Bulgarian descent, Dilma Rousseff, took office on January 1.
On Sunday, January 2, the sites presidencia.gov and brasil.gov were inaccessible for hours, after hackers overloaded the connection on purpose.
A group, named "Fatal Error Crew," posted in Twitter they were responsible form the attack.
A similar incident happened in April when a hacker's attack halted access to Rousseff's Worker's Party site for 24 hours.
On Monday, Brazil's authorities announced they were launching an investigation into death threats against the newly-inaugurated President, which have appeared on Twitter.
